Angels for America is establishing a network of doctor "angels" on call - caring, accessible physicians who provide consultations and services at a price you can actually afford.

Dr. Tony Amoruso is the foremost angel in my life and for so many others. Tony is a melanoma surgeon and one of the very few US doctors willing to provide affordable, individual consultations by telephone.

Dr. Tony Amoruso, an exceptional skin cancer detective and diagnostician, is a consultant in dermatological diagnosis and treatment. He's performed over 30,000 Mohs procedures, with special interest in compounding and formulating dermatological topical medications.

Dr. Amoruso is Laboratory Director of multiple Mohs facilities in Central Florida, where he is supervising physician of multiple physician assistants and nurse practitioners. He specializes in Dermatological Surgery Skin Cancer Surgery/ Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

Mohs is a method to remove and eliminate various tumors from any area of the body. By precise staining, freezing and orientation of the tissue, the surgeon can completely excise lesions with upwards of a 99.5% accuracy.(thereby having a recurrence rate possibly of as low as 0.5%). This allows tumors to be eliminated with the smallest possible defect, and, therefore, resulting in the smallest amount of scaring that can be achieved.

Dr. Amoruso is Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and licensed in both Florida and California. Patients throughout the globe request his assistance. He has treated leading Hollywood celebrity patients and served as dermatologist to the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).
